The Hematologist/Oncologist will join our team of physicians and nurse practitioners to provide quality, patient-centered care in a hospital setting.
Highlights
- Provide in-patient and out-patient Hematology/Oncology consultation services.
- Participate as an active member of the Tumor Board and Cancer Committee
- Be a resource to Primary Care providers to manage care of patients referred to Hematology/Oncology
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and nursing staff within the Hematology/Oncology Section
- Provide Hematology and Oncology services with quality clinical practice and standards of the Hematology/Oncology Section
- Participate in the Hematology/Oncology Call coverage rotation schedule.

Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
- A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
- Unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of PA
- Experience practicing medicine in hospital or private practice
- Adept at diagnosing problems and creating treatment plans for patients
- EPIC experience
- Ability to communicate sensitive and/or adverse information
- Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated excellent patient care experience.
